The first record of Persian Dunnock Prunella (modularis) obscura for Denmark
Was found by Kjeld Tommy Pedersen n Hirsholm island, Jutland on 11th February 2026.
Dr.Jon Fjeldsa was so kind as to check if the national collection of Danmark in Copenhagen contained any specimens of P.m.obscura. This was not the case. As in the national collection of The Netherlands in Leiden only accentors from further east in Asia were present see:
